Blackberry is at end of the road

Nokia and HTC are going through difficult times, but their position seems downright encouraging when you look at the direction it is heading BlackBerry. After the release of the long delayed BlackBerry OS platform 10 and the first terminal they use, the company has obtained than mediocre performance and decided at the last moment, to announce the availability of a partnership or a sale.
Now, BlackBerry is facing a bad stock situation, its indications losing about 38 percent in the last six months. Although initially it was rumored that BlackBerry shareholders will redeem the entire shareholding and to solve problems away from the capital market, the company announced today that it has appointed a committee whose purpose is to create a partnership opportunities discovery or sale of the company.
In fiscal quarter which ended in late May, the company announced that it sold 6.8 million BlackBerry terminals, only 40 percent of them but based on the new BlackBerry OS platform. Performance was below the expectations of analysts, who were detained at the outset anyway, even Windows Phone range from Nokia managed to attract double the number of customers. While scoring a quantitative increase from the previous quarter, higher number of terminals sold was accompanied with financial losses, and the company decided to officially announce the opening of opportunities for collaboration or sale.
In my opinion it's a shame it's downright dramatic. It is the best example that poor management can put down a company as strong as RIM.
Unfortunately failed to keep pace with customer needs with market trends and not least with the technology. The largest mobile phone manufacturers, and here I am referring to Nokia, Motorola, RIM (Blackberry) came in a situation that no one would have imagined.
And all thanks to Apple, which has managed to dominate the market with the iPhone for a few years. The only ones who understand that something has to change were those from Samsung, so strengthened their position in front of the Nokia, RIM and HTC.Only those who will be able to truly innovate will survive and will dominate the market.
Now it would be very interesting to see some big mergers that lead to innovation, technology and design. All that remains is to wait.
