YouTube celebrates 8 years of existence and Google celebrates the event by producing of a series of statistical information and showing dimensions attained by the famous portal of videos .
After 8 years of existence, YouTube has come to enjoy a share of popularity so great , that some videos raise billions of views and millions of likes, filling envy any classic television format preoccupied with viewing figures. Take for example the famous singer PSY song called "Gangnam Style", which exceeded the threshold of less than one year 1.6 billion views and raised over 7.5 million likes.
According to statistics Google, YouTube gets so many active users who regularly uploads video content, and the videos collection that grows with 100 hours of video every minute. For comparison, the same day last year were charged 72 hours per minute films and two years ago the figure did not exceed 48 hours.
