Apple is preparing to announce new versions of iOS and OSX
The main event of the conference, which will take place today, will bring on stage the director general Tim Cook and other executives of the company, who will present two new versions of operating systems, iOS (for devices mobile: iPhone, iPad) and OSX.
The general public will have access to early versions of the first two systems developed by reorganizing management software division of the company, now under the control of Jony Ive, one of the trusted men of Steve Jobs, which was previously occupied by design.
Presentation from today has a stake higher for Apple than in previous years after the appearance of a current of skepticism and mistrust among investors about the company's ability to continue the rapid pace of innovation, to remain a dominant force in the mobile product market communication and maintain high profit margins that has accustomed shareholders.
Apple shares fell by 17% earlier this year. Friday, Apple closed up 0.8% on the New York Stock Exchange, recovering the decline in the first part of the session due to a report sent around noon by an analyst who believes the group could surprise Monday by launching an iPhone low cost or an improved version of iPhone 5.
The company has already yielded pressures tablet market, releasing last fall mini iPad, a smaller version less performance and less expensive Apple tablet. Apple's new operating system for mobile devices most likely will be called iOS 7.It is anticipated that this year's version will bring major changes from previous versions, due to the influence of Jony Ive.
