BlackBerry Blackout

Things do not look good for the Canadian company that once confirmed it is open to a merger now starting to give out employees. And this after a very modest quarter in terms of revenues.
250 employees who worked in product testing in Waterloo were fired. It seems that research and development section losing these employees, and this segment is usually part of the backbone of a company. Interestingly BlackBerry claims that these layoffs are made "to adapt to new opportunities."
Is not the first dismissal of the BlackBerry nor the most important, being left without work last year 5,000 Canadian employees. This was the price paid for transition to BB 10 OS and save $ 1 billion.
Meanwhile CEO Thorsten Heins requires patience from investors and shareholders .
In recent months we have seen many rumors about a possible acquisition of the company's BlackBerry, either by Microsoft or by Lenovo or Microsoft. Lenovo seems to be the firm favorite, although we have strong indications of this. More details can be found here.
